Let’s vote…….!!!
There are so many things that we wanna do, but we are unable to do. But there are also so many things that we should do but we don’t do. Voting I think is one of them. Sometime I wonder whether my voting or not will make any difference..!! Maybe, maybe not. But I don’t know why but I still think that I should drag myself in the morning of V day and get my fingers marked with the indelible ink. At least I won’t have myself to blame for the miss happenings in the country.
There is also the issue of whom to vote. With such a varied choice of contenders from illiterate and hardened criminals to rickety old badgers, I wonder why I am still at loss. Whenever I look around for some inspiration in our political leadership there is hardly any name that deserves mention. What about such a vibrant selection of political parties both regional and national with their fancy symbols and even fancier office bearers?
How about da Congress with their Panja??? I don’t know. I m not too sure, I mean yes they are a secular lot. But, look who they collaborate with. They have the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Bengal. You don’t know TMC??? Arre Mamta didi yaar….the one who made a billion dollar immaculate company like Tata sprint and find comfort in NaMo’s lap.
What??? Congress did that…!!! Really…!!!
But aren’t they the ones who talk about development and taking this country beyond the 21st century?? Yeh Right. And then they have (or is had now?), Lalooji from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). I am really unable to understand this guy. First he is almost convicted for corruption in the Chara Ghotala and taking the state along with the dung of his cattle. And the next instance he is the railway minister in the UPA government turning around the Great Indian Railways’ from a loss making giant to a hugely profit making entity and delivering Management lectures to the IIM undergrads. How many decades did I miss out here??? How the hell did he achieve this? If he is such a great manager how come he could not improve the precarious human conditions and under development in Bihar? Pata nahi yaar…
Ae saala, kaun bola re..?? ek lappad lagaunga..!!!
How can you forget Shibu Soren of the Jharkand Mukti Morcha (JMM) from Jharkand. This guy was the Union Minister in the UPA government and was held guilty of involvement in the killing of his private secretary Shashi Nath Jha about 15 years ago by a Delhi court in the first such conviction of a Union Minister in a murder case? And why did he conspire to murder Jha? Apparently, because he who was aware of the details about the bribe received by Soren to support the minority P V Narasimha Rao Government (Congress) in 1993.
Bahut confusion hai bhai…!!!
